The 1st Formula-E race was held in BeiJing, China, right ?
Competition in the Electric Vehicle design/manufacture/service space is good for the industry and the vehicle-drivers-to-be. The USA had about 100 car manufacturers about 100 years ago. China is (maybe) in the consolidation phase for their auto industry.
